Zero makes, in our view, the best electric motorcycles on the market. While you can visit their website for all latest tech specs, there is nothing quite like coming down to the shop, kicking the tires, and taking a test drive to see what they are all about! Electric motorcycles are ideal for city riding - smooth, silent, no shifting, and torque all the time. Often overlooked is that electrics costs much less than a gas motorcycle to own and operate as they have very few moving parts or maintenance requirements. Personally, I love how there is no vibration or heat when you are sitting at a light, and how my neighbors smile instead of frown when I pass by. We have both the Zero X offroad model and the Zero 'S' (the 'S' we have to try is the 2009.5 - the 2010 is significantly faster with upgraded motor, battery and suspension.)
